I have over 15 years of experience in the Elementary Education. Over 5 years experience in Early Childhood Eduction.

About Me

My name is Dawn Richardson, and I am extremely passionate about working with children.

​

I have a degree in Applied Science and a certicate in Early Childhood Education. I am originally from Huntington Beach, California and relocated to Tillamook with my husband Shane in 2014. I went to college in Glenwood Springs, Colorado and while there I directed and taught my own classroom at a Preschool in Aspen. My experience ranges from birth through age 15 and I have spent many years working with children with disabilities.

 

I am extremely excited about working in this field again and believe that early childhood education is so important. My goal is to bring a high-quality preschool program to Tillamook where children can grow, learn, and thrive in their environment.

  • I have many training hours and continue my training monthly through ODHS

My Hobbies

In my free time I love spending time with my husband and my 5 children who still live at home. I have 3 adult children who I love to visit and spend time with who live out of state.

 

I am passionate about being a foster parent and have become a mom to many through foster care and adoption.

I love creating and baking! I love spending time listening to waves crash on the shore. I love school and trainings and continue to take many!

I believe it is so important to create relationships with every child I meet and look forward to helping them learn and watching them grow. Your little one will always feel welcome in my class and I can't wait to start the year!
